Production Supervisor

Our Client is a growing Tier 1 automotive supplier in the Clean Air and Ride Performance markets looking for an experienced supervisor to lead their 3rd shift production.
This role plans, organizes, leads, controls, and communicates in a production environment in order to meet goals in safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Responsibilities:
Will supervise team of 30+ production employees.
1. Inspects products to verify conformance to customer and plant specifications.
2. Directs set-up and adjustment of machines.
3. Studies production schedules and estimates work hour requirements for completion of job assignment(s).
4. Interprets and enforces company policies (i.e. safety regulations, PPE, etc.).
5. Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers and assigns duties.
6. Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
7. Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment, performance, and product quality.
8. Suggests changes in work conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
9. Analyzes and resolves work problems and assists workers in solving problems.
10. Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
11. Maintains and organizes production records and time records.
12. Estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials.
13. Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
14. Performs activities of workers they supervise.
15. Provides subordinate job training, assessment, and career guidance.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor Degree Required
2+ years supervisory experience

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
