Sr. Accountant

Job Description Job Description: The Senior Accountant provides timely and accurate financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data, preparing reports and maintaining effective internalcontrols. This position reports to the Plant Controller. Duties and Responsibilities Complete month end close procedures and journal entries. Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Monitor and maintain capital and customer tooling spending for the plant. Create standard cost for product and assist in standards roll process. Determine OH Rates for product by identifying fixed and variable costs for departments. Reconcile manufacturing variances to standards, variances to budget and new projectproposals. Assist in AP resolution with vendors. Perform daily receipt reconciliation and other audit activities as needed. Serve as backup support for Accounting Department Personnel. Assist with any special projects and financial issues/concerns as needed. Required Skills Required Experience: 5-7 years of applied experience in accounting field, preferably manufacturing setting Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Advanced Microsoft Excel & SAP experience is required. Required Qualifications: Ability to work in a dynamic environment and meet demanding deadlines. Ability to set goals and deliver timely and accurate results for self. Communicate effectively with other functional areas and all levels within the organization. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
